Is it weird that this was one of the defining moments of my childhood? I was eight or nine when I saw this, I got my uncle to record it on VHS because my parents wouldn’t let me stay up late to watch King Of The Ring that year. After I saw this Mick Foley became my favorite wrestler and still is to this day. I loved WWE at the time, but this is when I became obsessed. A week after seeing it, I climbed to the top of a massive shed in a field near where I lived and jumped on my friend through a table. I sprained my arm in a few places and busted up my back, I still have back problems from it to this day. My friend, of coarse, was fine. Still, this was just an incredible thing for an eight year old to witness. I was in complete awe of Undertakers presence and Foley’s insanity. Also, JR’s reaction is some of the greatest sports commentary to have ever happened, ever.
